The department hosts periodically the meeting and gathering of the Indian Association of Structural Engineers Gujarat State Centre that helps all structural engineering students, academicians and professionals to stay up to date in matters of the Indian standards and professional practice implications. The Faculty of Architecture was established in The Faculty of Planning, focused on planning in the public realm, was established in Resource wise, the structural engineering design program is support by studio type classrooms, material testing and structural laboratory and one of the best libraries that houses many reputed journals and books in the domain. The program has official understanding with the Institute of Seismological Research ISR at Gandhinagar, Gujarat which facilitates the students to gain an edge of seismology through expert sessions, visits and collaborative research. It seeks to promote theoretical discourses, advance design and technical skills, and build professional networks in the field of interior design.
